Here&#8217;s how our red wear layers contribute to the safety of cyclists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Red wear layer ideal for bike paths<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Smoothness is a major cause of sliding and falling and represents a high risk for vulnerable road users, especially for cyclists. Applying a red wear layer is ideal for bicycle strips on bridge decks. Wear layers increase safety for cyclists and other road users on different areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Restores weathered, cracked surfaces and other irregularities;<\/li><li>Protects the surface from weather influences and road salt;<\/li><li>Prevents splashing water (\u2018splash and spray\u2019);<\/li><li>Indicates the use function of the surface;<\/li><li>Reduces the risk of aquaplaning<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The ultimate long-term investment<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Red wear layers are a good long-term investment for your bike paths. Therefore, it is nice that there are wear layers that can be applied with a minimum of effort \u2013 and therefore also in the short term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our Himgrip NT wearing layer system is feasible with red instroation material (Indian Red). Unique to this system is that it only consists of two layers: A primer and a wear layer. This is one layer less than many other (3-layer) wear-down systems. This saves a complete labor flow.
