This means: no infiltration of moisture, chemicals or dirt through weak, porous spots. For industrial applications where hygiene and liquid-tightness are paramount &#8211; think of production areas in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.him.nl\/en\/food-processing-industry\/\">food industry<\/a> or cleanrooms in the pharmaceutical sector &#8211; this is a decisive advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to its self-levelling properties, the floor also achieves an extremely flat and smooth surface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Equally important: modern industrial resin floors are resistant to a wide range of chemicals, oils and acids. At HIM, we distinguish three main categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Epoxy floors<\/strong> form the foundation of our product range. These floors are strong, chemically resistant and decorative. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.him.nl\/en\/floors\/epoxy-floor\/\">Epoxy floors<\/a> are ideal for factories, warehouses and workshops where chemical resistance is important. Products such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.him.nl\/en\/product\/sl2000\/\">HIM SL2000 <\/a>offer a seamless, decorative finish with a layer thickness of 2 millimetres.;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Polyurethane resin floors<\/strong> are more flexible than epoxy, with a hard-elastic character and (optional) UV resistance. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.him.nl\/en\/floors\/pu-floor\/\">PU floors<\/a> from our SL PU series (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.him.nl\/en\/product\/sl-pu-d60\/\">D60<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.him.nl\/en\/product\/sl-pu-d75\/\">D75<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.him.nl\/en\/product\/sl-pu-uv\/\">UV<\/a>) remain elastic at normal working temperatures. Ideal for spaces exposed to slight temperature fluctuations or where movement in the substrate is expected.;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>ESD<\/strong> <strong>floors <\/strong>are specially developed epoxy floors for environments where static electricity can cause problems. Think of laboratories, electronics factories and cleanrooms. Our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.him.nl\/en\/product\/sl-conductive\/\">SL Conductive<\/a> system features a unique, conductive layer structure that ensures controlled discharge. With an additional <a href=\"https:\/\/www.him.nl\/en\/product\/fc-as\/\">HIM FC AS<\/a> top coat, personal charging is reduced to a minimum. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.him.nl\/en\/floors\/esd-floor\/\">ESD floors<\/a> are indispensable in spaces where the risk of dust and gas explosions is present &#8211; and a single spark can have catastrophic consequences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The right choice for your project<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>An industrial resin floor is an investment that quickly pays for itself through low maintenance costs, a long service life and superior performance.
