HIM wearing courses for bridge decks can be scattered with aggregate in the color and gradation of your preference, so that you can also make a difference on an aesthetic level. Our wearing course Himgrip NT is naturally grayish. The final color of the wearing course is to a large extent determined by the applied aggregate. On request, we can also color Himgrip NT for you.
We no longer have to tell you that wearing courses protect many bridge decks. They create a safe surface for traffic and pedestrians and optimally preserve the underlying surface. Our wearing course therefore has many indispensable properties:
Regarding the color choice, there are two options:
Himgrip NT itself has a neutral, gray undertone. The used scattering agent ultimately determines the color:
Functional colors that are often used for road, bridge and parking decks, but also cycle paths, ramps, drilling rigs and landing jetties.
Are you looking for a wearing course that is above all BRL certified? Then you are at the right place at HIM Products! Our extremely strong composite wearing course complies with Kiwa assessment guideline BRL K19143. The aggregates used for scattering, Mandurax (anthracite) and Guyana Bauxite (light gray), are eligible for this certification. The aggregate Indian Red does not (yet) fall under the BRL guidelines.
Do you prefer a different color? It is possible to install a pigmented finish. There are two consequences: This system is no part of the certified system and due to wear and contamination the color will fade over time. In practice, people often choose the colors red or black, but other colors are also possible.
With Himgrip NT you are assured of an extremely strong, durable, lightweight and non-slip wearing course that also meets your color requirements. With the trusted quality of HIM.
Himgrip NT is the perfect wearing course for every bridge deck.
