We have known for a long time that our wearing course has done a good job on steel, wood and concrete substrates, but now our strong, composite wearing course also meets Kiwa assessment guidelines BRL K19143 (“Compoiste wearing courses on steel, wood, concrete and bituminous substrates of structures”). The BRL certificate was awarded on 27 August and is in the name of Korthals Groep. Of course we are very pleased with the result!
Strict requirements apply to wear layers with regard to the adhesion of the system to the underlay, road safety and environmental implementation. Himgrip NT, the wearing course of HIM Products, is:
Himgrip NT is also subjected to a strict test regime in our laboratory and meets all these requirements.
With the award of the BRL K19143 certificate from Kiwa, Himgrip NT is now officially suitable for use as a wear layer system on the following surfaces, both for (heavy) traffic and for pedestrians:
The same aggregate can be used on every surface and product combination, depending on the type of traffic:
Himgrip NT is extremely strong, wear-resistant, lightweight and has excellent anti-slip properties. This makes the wearing course suitable for application on steel, concrete and wooden surfaces. Himgrip NT can be deployed for the heaviest traffic.
