Warehouses that require a liquid-tight floor finish that is resistant to various chemicals and are easy to clean are recommended to choose epoxy floors. A proven solution is our HIM SL2000 self-leveling floor, which consists of a mixture of selected epoxy resins and hardeners, pigments and inert fillers.
Optionally, the UV resistance and scratch resistance can be further improved by applying 1 or 2 layers of a HIM finish coat.
Another suitable floor finish for warehouses is the HIM FC450 coating, which, after curing, forms a robust, hard layer that is also liquid-tight and resistant to various chemical substances. Designed as a double-layer floor system, an anti-slip effect can be obtained by scattering the first layer with sand and applying the second layer with a rubber squeegee, thereby ensuring even better safety on warehouse floors.
If the emphasis is on extreme load-bearing capacity, trowel floors will perform particularly well. The special composition makes this floor system mechanically very strong. That is why HIM TF9000 is a widely used floor solution in factory halls and (machine) workshops. The floor is also easy to clean.
Prefer a rough and hard-wearing surface? The floor is also available with a non-slip finish.
With all the aforementioned floor finishes it is possible to apply lines or road markings with HIM LMP for walkways and driving paths for employees and forklifts. Each of the floor solutions are available in multiple colors and color combinations.
