In logistics hubs and distribution centers, floors are subjected to extreme loads from intensive use by forklifts, pallet trucks, and other heavy handling equipment. Robust, wear-resistant flooring is essential for safe and efficient operations. HIM supplies high-performance flooring solutions engineered for these demanding conditions, with durability and safety at the forefront.

Warehouse and DC floors are exposed to heavy mechanical loads day in, day out. Clear line markings and signage are also essential to enhance safety and efficiency. HIM provides flooring solutions that are not only robust and wear-resistant, but also contribute to a safer work environment. Our warehouse floors are specifically designed for intensive use and heavy loading. They are liquid-tight, highly wear-resistant, and can be supplied with anti-slip properties for maximum safety. Where robustness and long-term performance are required, we often recommend epoxy floors – particularly HIM SL2000 – finished with a topcoat to improve scratch resistance. A decorative (i.e., colored) finish is also possible. If a warehouse floor must handle extremely heavy loads, a trowel floor is the best choice.
High service life and resistant to heavy loads.
Anti-slip, line markings, and signage—everything for a safer workplace.

Floors in cold rooms must withstand moisture and heavy loads, and cope with temperature fluctuations. HIM offers specific cold-store flooring solutions that meet these challenging requirements, including resistance to thermal shock and slip resistance. Under these conditions, our floors remain crack-free and are HACCP-compliant.
Withstands cold and thermal fluctuations.
Fully liquid-tight and easy to clean.

In port loading and unloading zones—such as landing stages and RoRo linkspans—robust flooring is required to handle heavy transport traffic and variable weather. HIM supplies heavy-duty wear layers that perform excellently under these conditions while providing sufficient skid resistance for safe, efficient operations. Our wear layers are resistant to oil, gasoline, and de-icing salts. Himgrip NT complies with Kiwa Assessment Guideline BRL K19143.
Safe in all weather conditions.
HIM supplies BRL K19143-certified wear layers, among others.
