A mortar floor is a seamless surface composed of gravel or quartz grains bound together by epoxy resin. The floor is applied manually using a trowel and float, and visually resembles stone carpet but has a finer texture.
Mortar floors are typically finished with a sealer and a transparent topcoat to create a wear-resistant and liquid-tight finish. They are significantly more scratch-resistant than resin-bound floors.
Mortar floors are available in a variety of colors, each featuring subtle white and black speckles.
